my husband has the same problem, it gets 1-2 reacurring ones which for some reason seem to come back in the same place everytime, he showers and washes his hair everyday so its nothing to do with hygene, i think it could be to do with hair products blocking pours of infected hair folicals

it might be infected follicles. if it gets worse go see a dermatologist they'll tell you what is the matter

blocked oil ducts, keep your hair super clean, not much else you can do until you outgrow it
