If you really want to help, donate to Shelters for Women. They need these items to help women start their lives again. Many times they leave there homes in the middle of the night from an abusive husband or boyfriend. And they can have kids too.
They go to a shelter until they get a job or assistance and then they help them get an apartment and start over.

You can call Women shelter or Family Resource Centers.

These other groups sell them for money. And I get upset because they sell them for a high price instead of cheap so that the poor can afford them. It is greed.

call your community United way organization. There area many places that take such donations, not merely the Salvation military and Goodwill. i do not learn about all cities, yet some have furniture banks which help human beings in desire, and battered women human beings's shelters are consistently in desire of clothing.

Check your phone book. Many organizations will come pick up donations. ie. Goodwill, Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul.

the salvation army will take them and give them to the needy and give you a voucher you can write off your taxes
