I had heard of the Francis Drake, but didn't know much about her. In looking her up I discovered her history and glory days.
I have attached a link below from SS Maritime, a maritime historical research group. It is complete with photos and old brochures from the ship.

The Dominion Line decided to terminate services in 1971, and the ships was sold to be broken up that same year.
