I used to wear my hair like this all the time before I stopped going to hair salons. When I wanted my hair like this, my stylist would apply foam setting lotion to it and two-strand twist it, roll the ends, and sit me under the dryer until dry. She would then put oil on her finger tips and take the twists down to make them shiny, fluff them out a bit, and voila!! It was so cute. Too bad I sleep wild and it would only last for that day!

Scrunching would probably work, but it would make a more surfer- girl style due to the wet look of the gel it requires. Maybe you can find some that dries well. Sorry, but you may have to use rollers. Just try the scrunching first, though.

Well she was born with naturally high cheekbones, But you can try and mimick the look by "contouring" your cheeks, to do that you need an angled contouring blush brush. So shop around for one. It's basically a blush brush only angled, and a darker shade of blush...I suggest going to a department store and getting the make up artists there to help you find a natural looking one that will go with your skin tone, and basically highlight just under the cheekbone.

oIt depends on the grade of hair you have. My hair is relaxed to but after I wash it it curls up not like the pic (which is cute by the way ) sometimes I braid my hair when it is wet and let it dry overnight b/c my hair is really thick so it takes that long to dry and when I take it down is crinkled it looks really cute I always get compliments on it. Never tried rollers b/c I never know which ones to use. but I would like too.

jamonet20 is right......i'm a stylist......use some mousse......and either do big cornrows or 2 strand twists...going straight back...and take small rollers and roll them up on the ends.....sit under the dryer.....when dry.....just pick them out with your fingers....either rub on some oil......or spray some oil sheen.....and fluff it out.....the bigger the cornrow or twist.....the bigger the wave pattern.....so keep that in mind too.....its a cute style......good luck!!!
