i bought a 42 LCD Philips from c**et on new years eve set it all up as per instructions and its awful one minute the screen looks good really good then its pixled like hell looks like very old grainy film footage really gets me down even on sky its naff only adverts seem great i watched a film, it as great then same channel a documentry came on after it was terrible
this tv cost a few quid so i expect great pictures all the time not odd occasions

I don't own a large LCD TV, and even if I did, I wouldn't want to advertise the fact.

Why not leave your front door wide open, as well.

its great. its quite big obviously and the picture is much clearer than before too. we used to have a 28" and compared to that its massive. when you get it it will seem very very big but you get used to the size after a while.
