Wash twice a day with salt water.
Drink at least 6 glasses of water every day and eat at least three pieces of fruit every day.
No magical cure i'm afraid

Wash your face at least twice a day. In the morning wash your face with plain, lukewarm water and then moisturise with a light moisturiser and at night make sure you wash this off so that over night your skin can breathe. Use a face flannel as well if you must to grip dead cells and the scrub off excess grease. Don't add too much pressure to the scrubbing because then it damages the surface layer of the skin. Just do it lightly in a circular motion. Do not use perfumed soaps and moisturisers. Use neutral things; look for ph7 on any product you chose.
You could also use facial scrubs with scrubbing beads in them like St Ives Apricot scrub. This should only be used once to twice a week. Make sure though that use your neutral moisturiser afterwards.
Also, I use this and I'm twenty and I still get spots!! (Its not true when anyone says that when you're not a teenager they disappear) I use Clearasil Daily Spot Control for sensitive skin, 3 in 1. What it does, it takes away that excess oils on the surface of your skin and when used properly, its gets into your pores and helps pull that other oil out, the oil that is responsible for spot growth.
I apply this with simple make pads and lukewarm water. Wash in circular motions and do this two to three times a week using your neutral moisturiser.
Always remember to take any moisturiser off at night because your skin needs to breathe!! Good luck!!
I suggest that if your acne gets too bad, like if it spreads, go to the chemist and they'll recommend something.

Wash your face twice a day with Clean&Clear Quick Clear Daily Treatment Wash (£4). And if its blackheads or whiteheads then i would suggest a treatment gel by Clean&Clear called Advantage Quick Clear Treatment Gel (£4.50)-I use it for the blackheads around my nose. If that doesn't work then use Freederm which is an acne treatment but isn't that cheap (around £9 from a pharmasist). I use all 3 products daily and think they are all great! They may not be very cheap if bought all together, but they usually last me along time. Good luck!

the best way is to not over wash your face.
Wash twice a day thoroughly and then apply a toner that helps prevent blackheads. Go to any drugstore(walgreens, rite aid, long drugs) and look for a toner. Neutrogena is a very good brand.
Then after you apply the toner. Put on Neutrogena Benzol Peroxide. It comes in this little tube and it helps your nose from getting oily and so pores will not form.
Trust me. It works for me.

I think a good diet high in antioxidants is essential. Also drinking 2 litres of fluids per day (it doesn't have to be water but it is preferrable).
You also may want to go to a homeopath.
I do think that proper cleansing and toning is important however, I think acne is a condition and the only way to beat it is from the inside out.
I don't think getting anti-biotics from your GP is a good idea because it just reduces your bodies ability to fight bacteria and viruses so when you really do need your bodies own defences to work for you e.g. colds and flu they won't be as efficient.
That's just my opinion tho.

im 13 too and i used the nose strips a couple times and they really worked. but dont keep it on too long because when you rip off the strip it will hurt alot. if you dont want to use that then was your face 2-3 times a day. (clean and clear really helps)

I reccommend Neutrogena, they do a great face wash that is gentle and exfoliates the dead skin away too.Its not expensive either. But if you don't have blackheads around your nose don't use those nose strips, they'll only make the problem worse by irritating the skin

get into a better hygeine routine. Wash your face with a gentle soap and cleanser each day. Ask the local Chemist for advice on which one is gentle on young skin. You can use sticky tape to gently take off any dead skin cells but if you are washing your face each morning and night and drinking lots of water a day (2lts) your skin will be clear and glowing withing a month!!!

try dabbing a small amount of tea tree oil on your nose every night.... excellent for clearing up spots. it's either that, or toothpaste. (toothpaste drys out the excess oil & fights germs) just remember to wash the toothpaste off in the morning though, or u'll look like a total muppet ! lol
