It's true, spot reducing is a myth. It doesn't work that way. Your body will take and burn fat from where it wants to, not where you want it to.

Try combining a toning and a cardio workout, since cardio tends to have the quickest results and you want to strengthen the muscles around the stomach. You need at least 30 minutes a day of cardio, at least 3 days a week (although you can do more). Add in a strength training program - this doesn't mean you have to go to a gym or anything, there are plenty of exercises you can do around the home [push ups, wall sits, squats, sit ups, etc.]

Since you want to focus on the stomach muscles, work them from different angles. You can do crunches, leg lifts, side sit ups and other activities that work the stomach area. Work a variety of them throughout the week. Muscle attaches to bone in two places - the origin and the insertion points. Different actions require different muscles, so you will use a variety of muscles doing different exercises.

Continue eating healthy and don't over eat, in fact, healthy sancks like fruits and vegetables can help refuel the body and keep you from eating bigger portions when it comes to meal time. I tend to eat every 3 hours or so, stay quite active, and my weight generally regulates itself within a few pounds.

A proper diet is the best way to lose weight naturally and keep it off. You have to eat a varied adequate and balanced diet. Your body needs all kinds of food to function properly including fat in smaller quantities though. Your body needs the nutrients and vitamins in fruits and vegetables the most, that is what you should eat the most of (at least 5 servings a day). You also need protein, and a little fat. Reduce your intake of sweets, fried food and foods that contain a lot of fat. Don't drink too many alcoholic beverages or soft drinks (they have a lot of calories). Don't go to sleep right after you eat. And finally exercise at least 3 to 4 days a week for about 45 minutes.Good luck. You can also get more information about nutrition from this site:

trust me - you don't want to lose it fast - the faster the more chance of saggy skin - and you can't get rid of that without surgery...take it slow and you'll look firm, trim and fit!
