A typical 7 fluid ounce (ca. 207 mL) cup of coffee contains 80-140 milligrams of caffeine,a mild stimulant depending on the method of preparation. Black coffee has a pH of around 5. Unroasted beans contain all of coffee’s acids, protein, and caffeine — but none of its taste.

It is water along with the coffee bean solids(liquified) including caffeine, which is the plants defense mechanism designed to speed up the heart of the animal ingesting it, also making said animal nauseated and dizzy so the animal doesn't do it again. It's sad most humans are so hung up on thier drugs they dilute the caffeine in water so all they get is the rush. Now people are actually calling coffee healthy. They need to get a grip. Coffee plantations are getting larger and more plentiful, and are rapidly destroying the rainforests of the world. I hope you will use a small part of your presentation to bring this widesread problem to light.
Thank you.

Coffee, along with tea and water, is one of the most frequently-drunk beverages, its volume amounting to about a third that of tap water in North America and Europe."
