First off... i find your first comment against Muslims, not really offensive since I'm not Muslim, but it does tick me off a bit. Its such a broad statement that in reality only covers a small percentage of the population. Very few Muslims are actually violent. (and that is not what their "karaan" [spelled Koran] says) As to the why people are mean to Christians....

Its not all Christians its some. There are a large population of Christians that persecute against other religions. I know that my religion of choice has been put down far more often than Christianity and that Christians are far "meaner" to people of my religion than we are to theirs. The bad attitude of many Christians, or their bad attempts at evangelism, have left a bad impression on the whole mass of Christians (much like the few Muslims who blow themselves up give people a bad idea of other Muslims and Islam) this causes many people to be mean to,or dilike, Christians. However, i will admit that i live in, or at least close to, the southern bible belt. That may affect my feelings towards Christians....

I hope that thoroughly answers your question...

If your are going to assume that a book (i.e. the Koran says something) It might be a good idea to actually read it.

The Muslims that kill in the name of Allah, are no different than the Christians that blow up abortion clinics, they are Fundamentalist/Extremeist that distort the word of God.

As far as the forefathers creating this country on "Christian Principles" maybe you should study more about the fore-fathers. (most that wrote the constitution were not Christian, hence the Freedom Of (and from) Religion.

The reason people have issue with a religious faith is because they preach they are the only one true way, if you don't believe us you will burn, and therefore are less than equal (Oh which is why the Muslims don't want us in their country). Concern yourself more with your own spirituality and less with the religion of the neighbor, and the world will be a much better place.

First of all, the country was based on the principles of the Enlightenment, not Christianity (hence the reason for the First Amendment).
Christians aren't like Muslims they don't blow up anything...who blew up abortion clinics? Christians (and before anybody gets excited, I'm not blaming all Christians). The Bible states it is not up to you to do these things, either: "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord."
China isn't against Christianity. China is Marxist, and they are opposed to all religions, not just Christianity.

You do have a lot of hypocrites and you are the worst about pushing your faith on others. I personally am harder on the Muslims for the exact reason you gave.

And I think you should read a little about Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin before you go all ga-ga that they were all Christian. Franklin belonged to a hedonist club that in England and Jefferson felt the need to rewrite the Bible the way he thought it really went down.

Why do Christians always whine about people being "mean"?
Some people need to get an education. Some people need to develop an understanding that there's such a thing as correct spelling.

Some people need to work on their minds to stop being so hyper-sensitive that not everybody subscribes to their version of reality.
Some people need to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them but that they're an integral part of the world around them.

Yes, it's a cold old world out here isn't it? GROW UP.

Look what was done to Jesus Christ. Do we deserve any better treatment than He?

Read your Bible and you will see that we are destined to be persecuted, but promised that "those that overcome will be saved." - Book of Revelation

The Book of Job is another good one to read when you talk about persecution. Yet he was a righteous man and was rewarded in the end.

Count your blessings!

well first of all not all but many christians come on here and are mean and rude as a ll hell to all of the atheists and agnostics and i'm agnostic second of all our founding fathers were freemasons and this nation was meant to be secular and not on any particular religious beliefs and if you don't like this forum then nobody is telling you to come here and i'm not saying it to be mean but as a piece of advice and if you were to stick around long enough you would notice how rude some of the religious people are to non religious people and you would see some of the ignorance that some of these religious people spit out on this forum so don't go running around on this forum accusing one side of being the culprit and not blame the other side for their transgressions as well

see, this is what gives christians a bad name. this is not how christians should speak about other people. whether they are christians or not. the people who wrote the 1st amendment were not christian-like at all so this country has nothing to do with christianity.
