my Dad was in France and taken POW after Normandy..sorry he is dead now...it was horrible...he always planned his next meal as an adult because of the starvation he faced...he also had to live with lice...as an adult he was very clean and took very nice care of himself...he stayed in touch with all his war buddies and visited them around the country...we had a lot of respect for him...and are thankful he survived
