The Australians apparently lead the over-consumption list - they consume 6X more than they can replace . . . but since most of the planet is not far behind them ,
It would be safe to say NO . . .
Natural resources will either be exhausted before you make it to retirement OR the global warming will correct the problem with radical reductions in human population.

I guess you will have many answers saying NO

But you might get the odd yes answer from people sitting in a dark room drinking only water and living on bread on a daily basis.

I know I don't. I leave all my lights, tv, radio, and computer on 24 hours a day. I waste alot of water. I never recycle. and I waste alot of gas.
