I would start with some better hair product. Look for a leave in conditioner that will de-fuzzify your hair. Also, a moisturizing shampoo. Leave in for a couple minutes, then rinse and condition. Also use a brush that has round ends, and an open back. If all else fails, go to a nice salon, get your hair done, and ask them thier advice for your hair. Every head of hair is different.

Thats A Tough Question..If You Really Like Your Hair How It Is Wavy Then Leave It. I Would Suggest Using Non-Frizz Gel. I Have A Perm Right Now, And I Want My Old Hair Back!! It's Your Choice..Good Luck!!

Curly or wavy hair almost always looks better if it's not brushed. After you wash your hair, run a comb through it. Then, use mousse or shine serum and let it dry naturally or use a diffuser. It's OK not to brush your hair when it's dry if you've combed out the tangles when it was wet. Getting a perm would only exaggerate your problem. If your hair was curlier and you brush it once it's dry, you will have even puffier and frizzy hair.

Perming? If you like brushing your hair then I would stay away from a perm. The perm will cause your hair to look fuzzier if you perm it. I would suggest using a hair polish that will keep your hair silky and frizz-free but still allow you to brush through it. I would recommend Glass by Redken. It's awesome on wet or dry hair...just don't use too much or your hair will look oily focus it on the length of your hair you don't need to on the hair closest to your scalp.

Get some hair serum to help with the frizzys or fly-aways. You can usually get a really good one pretty cheap at Walmart or Kmart.
I bet you'll be really pretty with your hair down instead up up in a bun all the time. Plus, it will be better for your hair. Wearing a bun pulls on your scalp and hair and causes breakage.

I don't think perming would help it would just damage your hair. Brushing may be causing the poof why not just comb your hair after you wash it? Try using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and applying a little mousse after you shower.
