Where can a family of four go?

Where can me and my family go in the United States for a fun Vacation? without going to Disney World ( we went last year). Also without going to New York ( we are going in March). I really need some help.

The area around DC is great. You could spend some time in the city, but could also go to Gettysburg, PA, about 90 miles NW of DC. And you could go to the Amish country around Lancaster, PA, which is 60 miles east of Gettysburg.

To the NE from DC is Annapolis - a beautiful harbor town and a state capital too.

South is Washington's home in Mt Vernon and further south is Williamsburg, VA
