I have two dogs, a Husky x Eurasier (Jack) and a mini Shih-Tzu. When people are afraid of dogs it usually the big one that worries them, to bad they don't know that the little one is dumb as a post. (not his fault, if he were a human, lets just say he'd be in the speical ed class. Quite seriously, he's delayed.)

I live in an apartment building and Christmas Day I bring the two out to pee. Big one is on lease, little one not. He's never run away and doesn't go more then about 6 feet or so, perhaps 2 meters away.

There is a mother and two girls walking past. One of the girls is running and skipping to the little one takes off after her. They both start screaming, their mother looks around and she starts screaming too.

They are screaming so loud my big dog is on the ground cowarding and I don't think the little one can hear me call. Though they were only a few meters away from me, about 8 feet maybe, so I'm sure as far as the little one was concerned, he was allowed this far.

The two girls are running circles around their mother with my Shih-Tzu running beside them. This is the way phobic people run from a mouse.

By now the whole neighbourhood is looking out the window at me.

One of the girls kicked the dog while she was running, he stopped and peed on her mother's foot. Then came right back over tail wagging, tongue hanging out and very proud of himself.

To top it off they did not speak English or French (the two official languages of my area, which I speak).

Anyway, the mother was pointing her finger at me yelling, so my big dog now stood up in a "don't threaten my owner" fashion and they took off down the road scream, arms flailing like their heads were on fire.

I'm pretty sure half the neighbours now think the dog was attacking the children or something...

My dogs are both hand and voice command trained, as well as house trained. Our landlord and his wife came over one day to chat well the wife was pregnant and we were standing in the kitchen on linoleum and my male dog decided he needed to mark his territory he peed on the wife's leg. We all laughed about it but it was embarrassing.

your canines is amazingly youthful and is a extreme skill breed. you do not element out even if you furnish her with any exercising earlier you ask her to be calm and nicely behaved. collies are operating breeds and require a good number of psychological stimulation and artwork to do. i might want to signify taking her for a strong walk, or a run earlier you try operating such as her. you may purchase doggie backpacks which make the walk extra tiring in case you do not have the time or skill for an prolonged walk or a run. I used useful education to end a GSD from chasing motorcycles and joggers I used food as a reinforcement, the trick being that I were given her interest with the take care of earlier she suggested the coming human being, then kept her centred by really allowing her to smell the take care of, till the guy had handed. then she change into rewarded. i began by putting her in a sit first, then as she were given strong at ignoring even as we did that, we stepped forward to heeling with the take care of in hand, even as the guy handed, fairly quickly, we were strolling off leash, and he or she might want to ignore concerning the coming motorbike/jogger. keep education education short. and end them on a good note. even if you actually end and sit at an outside cafe, or different public position, for lower than 5 minutes or so, giving her treats and conserving her interest on you, and then going abode, it truly is going to assist her comprehend what she did change into good, instead of waiting till she receives bored and looks for mischief. once you're making it an popular occurrence then a number of the buzz will die off. I used to take my canines to the canines park on a daily basis for further or less an hour or extra. i might want to visual demonstrate unit human beings chase their canines round for a nil.5 hour to attempt to get them to bypass abode. because it change into area of our undemanding, and in no way an rare journey, my canines might want to go away with none issues. strong success!
