I have super-thick hair too, and I've been getting it thinned almost every time I get it cut, probably for the past 10 years or so. The difference is amazing!
I did a spiral perm once, and it looked great and I loved it.
In terms of everyday wear, braids are great, ponytails, clips, basically anything to condense part or all of your hair. If you're having an especially poufy day (depending on your hairstyle and length) put the top half of your hair in a braid or clip, or even a bun of some kind.
Hope that helps.

HAHA i have very thick hair also. It just like drives you to the point where you wish you had no hair don't you? Well some people get it thined. So it isn't as heavy but it still looks thick. You can straighten it. Blow drying works on some. Not mine because my hair looks like a huge rats nest. Also try a certain type of shampoo for like very thick hair. Also use conditioner. It helps get rid of tangles. But do'nt use to much because then your hair will loook greasy. Good luck!

If your hair goes thicker in winter its because there is more moisturiser in the air and it causes your hair to dry out more and make it thicker, so buy a good hair serum. I reccomend garnier "Sleek & shine smoothing serum"
Get your hair thinned or layered. Go to the hairdressers and ask for a layered cut that'll thin your hair out or just to get your hair thinned.Or get both, Some people think its bad for you, and its not. They simply cut the middle of your hair and you can still do any hair styles.
Grow your hair, if you have your hair long it can sometimes thin your hair out, but you do end up in split ends and sometimes unhealthy hair.
Use hot water in your hair, not very healthy but... hot water will open up your pores in your head and hair seems to fall out, but only do this is you are desperate.

I have really think hair too and all you have to do is take care of it. Brush it whenever you have free time, but don't cut it to short. Layers help a bit, and curling it's fun as long as you don't damage your hair. Have fun with it and don't worry about it!

you could always try getting it thinned at your hair place. But if thats not an option, some cute styles for thick hair are french braids, wear it up, scrunch it. You could try straightening it and it might look thinner too! good luck!

What's wrong with thick hair? Try layering it. I don't understand why girls with thick hair want to have thin hair.
