I believe religion is a type organized spirituality, but there are various ways to obtain spirituality. Meditation, seeking knowledge, good deeds, and humbleness are very much apart of the fabric of the world wide religions but are also obtained by independent seekers.

yes but new religions then pop up. It is human nature to try to repeat positive experiences. These becone rituals/practices. Ultimately they get defined rules attached called doctrine. It is better to find spirituality with in religion and promote it's experience through the belief system.

Absolutely, they are 2 different things...Religion "confines" you to a certain set of beliefs, whereas spirituality transcends religion.

Spirituality is where you believe in something bigger than your self not necessary god. But you know there is something out there. Where as religion is where you believe and worship something. Not just assume it's there.

I think its best they be wrapped up together for the same reason I put egg shells and mouldly bread in the same bin.
Its easier to throw them out that way.
