what kinda friend are you to even be thinking about that after your friend has passed away?!!
im a chick, and if my guy died, i would say atleast two years b4 his so called friends are even allowed to flirt with me.

Wow, that's heavy. It's 6 months if they split according to man law? I didn't know that, good to know. Anyways, I would say wait 6-8 months when it comes to them dieing too. I just hope your feelings developed after he had passed, and not that you took his passing as an opportunity, know what I mean? Because then it doesn't make it so nice. OH VERY IMPORTANT, I didn't even think about it- If they were married then like 2 years, if they were dating, it depends on how long they've been together and the seriousness of their relationship. If <1year than 6-8 months, if it's like 5 years, then you have to wait like 1 1/2 years. Sorry. You want to make sure she likes you for you and not just as a comfort "I don't want to be by myself" kind of thing. Good Luck and sorry about your friend.

What makes you think she's going to want to date anyone in 6 months or six years? This is really a morbid question and your motives are nothing less than self gratifying. Maybe you ought to try thinking about someone else for once? Like your dead friend.

u can not arrange this kind of situations....if she was his gf that means that she liked him...and if he dies she will depressed...so at least have the courtesy to respect that some people suffer if somebody dies...they do not think oh let me think who will be the next one

u r assuming she wants to date you. god forbid she is actually morning her boyfriend's death. She now has to deal with the fact that her boyfriend's friend wants to bone her. Be easy. If she wants to sleep with you, you will know. go after someone else until she calls you and says yeah I want to sleep with my dead boyfriend best friend.

Remember that you've both suffered a loss and that you may be getting into a fools rush. be there for her let her be ther for you. If it happens let it, but don't try to make anything happen.
