Yeah he does because he said that he liked you alot of times in the survery and didn't say anything negative about you.
I think he's a bit shy about whether you like him or not because he mentioned your ex, and he thinks you still fancy him.
You could try hinting to him that you're starting to get over your ex and ready to move on with other boys, and hopefully he'll get the message.
