I'm sorry you are having trouble. Reading your Bible will keep you grounded in the word, so do try to keep it up. Talk to your pastor, Christian friends, or a Christian counselor. Tell them how you feel, and maybe they can help by praying for you, and encouraging you. I'll pray for you too. God Bless.

i am struggling with sort of the same thing except i feel as though i do have major sins in my life. what i have done is to just be around people who truly live their lives for God. i started visiting churches and found one that i really like. just being around them and letting them pray for me has strengthened me. just seeing how they live makes me want to live better. if have asked them to pray for me, that i will one day have a real desire to pray and read my bible. i used to hardly pray at all and now i sit down and pray at least twice a week. i hope to one day get to the point where i pray every day.

Nobody likes praying, because it goes against our fallen human nature.

Do it anyway. It always works.

And if you can't bring yourself to do it alone, join a prayer group at your church, and make it a regular part of your week.

You could also convert to Catholicism, which has the widest range of prayers, devotions, and sacraments anyone could ever need, including the authentic Eucharist, which is the real and substantial body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, not just a symbol.

It's hard to feel far away from God when you and he are physically and spiritually one, all at the same time.

Christians are spiritually like humans are physically. We have a spiritual birth, we have a spiritual childhood, and we grow in grace and become mature spiritually in Christ. Spiritual children live in the "gimme" stage just like physical children do. They just ask and receive, and are delighted when their father gives them what they ask. But it is not healthy either physically or spiritually that you remain in that stage. God is deciding that you need to move on, and singing songs, and clapping hands, and give me this, and thank you Jesus, and church activities are not enough any more. It is time to look seriously at what God has called you to and to get into the battlefield. You are bored and you need to dig deeper into spiritual things. I would suggest you make it a habit to read a little daily devotional every day that will explain what true spiritual maturity is. This is written by Oswald Chambers, and is called "My Utmost for His Highest". Nothin else like it any where (Bible excluded). You may not understand what he is saying at first but slowly it will sink in. Try it!

Try as hard as you possibly can to connect with God. Pray, pray, and pray some more. Reading various books can also help.

One human life is usually sufficient to iron out the bumps. You will get a chance to rely on prayer, so keep as close as you can to God.
