are there more choices of fonts that i can download somewhere, without getting rid of the standard ones?

yes check this site http://www.typenow.net theres hundreds og fonts and theres also pretty neat movie, TV and brands fonts

Go to this site... http://www.fontfreak.com/fonts-a.htm
download the fonts you like unzip them to a folder and then use the font folder in the control panel to install them... they'll be available to all programs.

you betcha, go to http://www.microsoft.com and do a search of microsoft.com site for "FONTS". a search result page will pop up and you can peruse the 1000's of offers.
