is it a shot and does t hurt i heard it was this disc thing they but on your skin but its not a neddle true or false what is a tb shot

tb = Tuberculosis

yes it's a shot. You get them when you are an infant and again when you turn 15 or so - as a booster.

Doesn't hurt just a pinch, but if you are squeemish about shots - get someone you love to lock eyes while you are getting it. I usually set my hand on the opposite shoulder of the recipient and hold their hand, and lock eyes with them and talk constantly in a calm voice while they are getting the shot.

it is NOT a shot but a 4 prong thing shaped square and put onto your skin

the skin is NOT broken and these do NOT hurt

this applies some of the TB virus to your skin and 2 days later, is looked at (or read) for a result---most of us have a negative result or no mark, redness or swelling of any sort on the skin

It is a needle with a small amount of TB placed just barely under the skin. Shouldn't hurt.
