Any place God chooses to dwell is a holy place, some more notable than others.
Jerusalem was known as the holy city because the Temple was there, and the spirit of God was known to dwell in the Temple.
Hence, the Temple, the Temple Mount, and the city itself were all sanctified by the presence of God.
Today, Jesus Christ is truly present in substance, inside every Catholic Church, the world over.
And of course, the spirit of God dwells in the soul of every faithful and repentant Christian.

The temple of God is designed in 3 courts, all facing to the East. The otter court, where many people could go and women also. The inner court where only the priest could go and do work for God and inside of the was the holy place where only the High Priest could go once every year and only a certain way and only after he did many things first. But inside the Holy place was the Arch of the covenant and it was behind badger skins as a veil between the inner court and the holy place. And this was rent in two parts at the death of Jesus during the earthquake; Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; These three parts of the Temple were patterned after mankind having three parts inside one body; the outer part being the body that we can see, inside of the the spirit, and inside the spirit the soul of man. God made the Jewish temple to pattern mankind.

One holy place would be a Spirit-filled person.
The Bible states that anyone who possesses the Holy Spirit is holy. The Bible speaks of a holy man of God, holy ones, a holy people, a holy nation, and holy brothers.
That is why Mary is blessed (holy). The angel Gabriel called her, "Full of grace" and, "The Lord is with you."
With love in Christ.

There are No Holy Places here on planet Earth! There are many Claims by many Religions to claim this or that place holy.
God makes the Place HOLY, not a location or address!
Thanks, RR

Well, lets start by defining the word for you.......
Holy means to ....
Cleanse, to set apart.
So if a church or any sanctuary is holy then is has been set apart for one purpose. To worship and celebrate God.
When God cleanses people's hearts and makes them "holy", he sets them apart for Himself to do His service.
Hope that helps some

Anyplace can be considered a holy place; but it's usually where you go to worship God, like a church building.
