Ok, just remember, there are much bigger problems than that.

If you usually get A's, then i dont think your parents will get mad at you. If they do, just remind them of that. Remind them also that everyone screws up once in a while and assure them that on the next time you will do better.

Do not lie to them, they are your parents, and trust me they will find out. It will get you nowhere. In fact, it will make everything worse. And remember, it could be worse. At least youre not starving in africa.

P.s. You are overdramaticizing this whole situation. They will certainly not make you move to a new town, its not that bad. Im sure your parents got a few f's when they were your age too. Calm down, its not that bad. Just make sure you study hard for any upcoming tests, and you'll be fine.

You're a good student, for heaven's sake. If you had a mental blip (and we're all entitled) just say so. If there was another reason for the bad grades, 'fess up.

You'll never have anyone who is more in your corner -- throughout your entire life -- than your mom. Believe it or not, she'll appreciate your being upfront.... Maybe, after she's given you a little flack! Telling your mother a lie is just not worth it on so many fronts.

Tell your mom the truth she will understand tell her this: " Mom, I was talking in school the passed days and I don't wanna lie but I got an A and D on 2 papers so I'm really sorry people make mistakes!" And then huge her people do always make mistakes so don't kill your self because of it!

You might get caught with your lie you thought of. Because what if your mom gets really angry that your teacher deducted that many points just for talking and she calls to talk to them. Then they say you really just failed. I suggest you just say "Mom, I was having a little trouble this time so I failed. I'm going to try even harder next time" Because if she finds out you lied... then chances are you'll be in double the trouble. Hope that helps a bit hun :-)

It is not wise to lie to your mother or anyone else for that matter. Your mother will easily realise you are lying, mothers have an uncanny knack for knowing when their children are lying. She would be more displeased at you for lying than getting a bad grade on your test. You need to suck it up and tell your mother exacty what you said here and that you just screwed up this time. Tell her that you promise to try harder and do better the next time, and mean it. She won't be mad for long.

You better tell her the truth. If you tell her a lie, she might speak to your teachers and find out. Then you'ld be in even bigger trouble. Tell her the truth, apologize for goofing up, and promise (and deliver!) much better grades next quarter. Parents like it when their kid steps up and admits guilt instead of hiding it. It shows you are growing up and taking responsibility. I bet you'll get in less trouble too, if you tell her first.

Why not try telling your mom the truth? Nobodys perfect and sometimes people get f's and d's. You cant always get a's. If you lie to her your going to hurt your mother worse then an f or d and to be honest, your mothers going to love you no matter what you do.

If you usually get A's,just tell the truth.I know that's not exactly the answer your looking for,but at least you dont leave yourself open to possibly get caught in the lie.
Just tell her exactly what you said "I dont know what happened i just screwed up on this" and that you'll try harder next time. She should understand, considering your an A student.
EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES,WE ARE NOT ALL PERFECT.
:)

Good luck

Don't lie, that never works. Parent teacher confrences wil come around and the REAL reason will be revealed anyway. Instead tell her what happened and tell her yourgoing to work real hard to get your grades back up. You mostly get A's anyway right?

You need to be honest so that you can get the help you need. Lying only makes it worse because the truth always comes out. You don't want to be a liar and a poor student, do you?
