I like With Arms Wide Open by Creed. I also like I Hope You Dance by Martina Mcbride. Tim Mcgraw has a new song out called My Little Girl.

I chose songs with my children's names in them.
Sweet Baby James (James Taylor), House at Pooh Corner (Kenny Loggins)( for Christopher), Tell Laura I Love Her (not the best choice 'cause it's a tragedy), and Big Bad John.
I always loved I Hope You Dance too, but I pray that one. The other favorite was Forever Young (Peter, Paul and Mary).
Just sing all the time!

When i was little, my dad's song to me was, "you'll never be one again", by Alabama,. Now, i like the song "i loved her first" by Heartland. Also my husband likes "i've been watching you" by Rodney atkins. Good luck!
