You may be depressed honey, it sound's like it. I have been diagnosed with depression for many years now and also had a lot of difficult times with my mental health. I find when my mood is low that I often cry a lot and I can't always say why I am crying. You could maybe go to your doctor honey if your really worried and ask for some support. They might put you in touch with a therapist and you could talk over any issues you have, bullying is serious and it can affect you later in life so you should try and sort this out while you are still young. No problems too small to fix, open up and let people in to help you. Stay Strong and good luck x

Hello little one...you have a lot of good help here, people do care....and i think you'll find many who have felt this way. I do think your awful past experiences might be affecting you, it can take years to be put back together again after what you've gone through...one poster said keep a diary, this is a good idea as you will be able to see if crying a lot is linked to your cycle(hormones) if not you can rule this out or get help from you doctor...whatever it is there is always help so don't despair..
Have you thought about looking up some anti-bullying websites? try a search and that way you might find some help if you find it to difficult to speak to anyone...
I really do hope you get the help you need...

Hi, I'm sure your past bullying has taken a toll on you and has left you very sensitive to any jokes etc that you might take personally that probably weren't intended that way. I think that you probably are suffering from low self-esteem.

You are hopefully now out of the bullying environment, so won't be bullied any longer. You need to build your self-esteem up, you are a very worthy person, better than those who bullied you, you will have a better life than them, I'm sure.

Try to talk this through with someone. If you can't talk to your parents, go to the doctor and ask to speak to a counsellor, who will be totally confidential.

You are worth it, you are not the problem, get it off your chest, chat to someone and enjoy your life.

Best wishes.
Dawn

are you a confident person? if you have been bulled for all that time, your sense of ego has had a good knock.
we all cry for no reason, well i do from time to time, we cant all be happy all the time can we?
have you spoken to your doctor as it could be a little depression, are you having problems at work or college thsat could get you down too, all this could be getting on top of you and you express this by getting weepy.
Lack of confidence could be a big thing, once i left school and got a job, my confidence grew and i felt better about myself, and yes i too was bullied at school which probably didn't help.
Id just have a word with your doctor if you are worried.

It really upset me to think you have been a victim of bullies for so long, and since the age of 5!!! That has obviously had a massive effect on your emotions.

I think the best think you can do about it is find someone to confide in, that you can tell your problems too. I think you should also go and see your Doctor and get him to refer you for therapy, group therapy is the best as it enables you to speak to other people who understand you and don't judge you.

If you EVER need to talk or just get something off your chest - sometimes it is easier just to type it all down and press send - you can email me through my profile.

You take care of yourself love.

Sounds like you suffer from bouts of depression. You can see your doctor initially because it may not just be an emotional problem, it can also be physical.

You are doing something about it right now, by asking a question and realising that there may be a problem which you would like solved. That's the first step ;)

You probably have slight ptsd which is caused by trauma. The jokes are triggers and the only way you can fix this rapidly is find a counselor that performs EMDR therapy. This therapy files the bad memories properly and relieves the pain and sadness that these thoughts ( the thoughts of the trauma) can have on you. then you can think of these things and not get upset.
