One of my favorite salons is named Curl up & Dye I think it's clever and funny. a lot of salons make a play on "Mane" / main. good luck!
also, with my sister and her friends came up with this: "Hair Umm? or Hair Um? " not sure how many m's in umm! anyway, this derives from: The Arabic word 'harem' can be translated as 'forbidden' or 'secluded'. Another meaning of harem was to denote an area where uninvited or unworthy had no access. Hence, Mecca and the surrounding area is a harem — a religious harem. ..So that means your place must be the best :) and people will want in. Also like, if someone has a 'hair umm?" or no clue what to do with their hair, they can go to your place and get it fixed :) Plus, it's fun & easy to say! :) the best to you with your venture. congrats.!

Keep in mind that you want to choose a name that will draw customers. Hair color is what is going to make you the most money so I would choose a name that implies how great your color services are.Every salon cuts hair and chooses names that have cutting or shears in the name but not too many have names about color. I think its a move that may put you "Head and Shoulders" above the competition. *grin*
