The marinade contains olive oil, lemon juice, spices, onion, garlic and a wee bit too much salt.

I am supposed to marinade it overnight, but I have just tasted a piece of it and was too salty. What can I do to save the rest?

Add a few tablespoons of sugar to off-balance the saltiness, or add a bit more oil and lemon juice to thin out the marinade a bit. Hope this helps!

fairly ordinary is olive oil and lemon juice yet not for too long or acid will starty to cook rooster a million hour tops playstation marinades could be brushed on after like a baste collectively as food is cooking yet especially the food sits interior the marinade for a collectively as until now cooking so flavour soaks in. different marinades regularly contain oil and herbs or spices. tarragon and rosemary are the two good with rooster (one after the different one or the different) alongside with everyday stuff like tyme with all meat and black pepper and GARLIC no salt until the 2nd until now grilling

Donot wash it or remake the marinade. Keep it as is and add a peeled potatoe during the cooking process. It will absorb the salt. Remove the potatoe when you are ready to serve the dish.

Don't know how much time you have, but cutting a potato in half and letting it sit in your sauce is best for extracting salt. The potato can even be eaten after ward. It's best to let it sit overnight, but even a couple of hours may do the trick.

Either that or double your recipe.

Add another measurement of the other ingredients per the recipe, but omit the salt.
