The world is not completley round. it's an "Oblate Spheroid".
Oblate means-"Flattened or depressed at the poles" and Spheroid means-"A figure simliar to a sphere but not perfectly round". Basically, it's a sphere that isn't perfectly round with a bulging middle and flattened poles do to it's rotation.

no its completely false! the global earth myth is 20th century invention by nasa who offer "proof" in the form of computer generated photographs in order to perpetuate this myth so that they can generat funds from gullible buisnesses and governments. the notion then filtered into the general consciousness and has been erroneously endorsed ever since.
the world IS flat even Plato new this and he was a genius so it must be true!

In a general sense it's round. It does however bulge at the equator. It's quite lumpy and bumpy too, so you could never describe it as flat.

No - it is an oblate spheroid. Basically round but bulging a bit in the middle.

Nope, it's flat and rests on the backs of four giant elephants who stand on the shell of a colossal turtle which floats through space.

Yes, it is. That's why when you're on a ship or something land disappears gradually from the bottom up.
