You should really just talk to your mom about this, but I know when i was going threw that I wanted some one else opinion other than my moms. It is okay for you to be scared, that is a natural feeling. when the timing is right you will feel less scared, you will be more nervous, just make sure you know what you need to about all the consequences and STD, and have your mom help you decide what kind of birth control is right for you. Not everyone bleeds on there first time, some just spot a couple of days. If the timing and guy is right it does not hurt that bad either. Just make sure you think long and hard before you do anything, and talk it over with your mom.

When you have a Pap smear, your muscles are all tense, and it's not a relaxing or fun experience! Sex is very different. You may have some bleeding and it may hurt, but then again you may not (I didn't have bleeding, and it didn't hurt either). The first time you have sex you'll probably be nervous and a little tense, so it may not be the best experience ever, but don't worry it gets better! :)
You can help ensure that your first sexual experience is a good one by 1) being SURE that you want to have sex (don't be pressured into it), 2) being relaxed with the person that you're having sex with, and 3) using plenty of lube (e.g., Astroglide).
Don't worry, it'll for sure be better than a Pap smear! :)
ps--if your doctor is forcing a speculum into you, I recommend finding a different doctor. Even if you're tense, it shouldn't be such a painful thing.

first off if you are young and had not had sex your doctor should have used more care with you the pap smear should not have hurt you it would be unconfortable but not that kind of pain, Now the sex part;the first time can be a little painful, but if the guy is gental and takes the time then it shouldn't be to painful, the problem with this is if you are young and the gut is immature he may not have the controle or the knowledge to take it slow and easy. The most important thing is that you be well lubricated before he enters you and when he breaks you hamen he should stop and hold still until you expand to his size, then he can procede easily at first. You mom is right the first time you will bleed a little, because your hamen has been broken/torn but its not alot of blood.
I hope this help take the fear out of you first sexual experience but if you are still really afraid then try to relax because if you tense up it could hurt more

ovcourse its ok! evryone is scared of something and having pre marital sex is a commitment...and if its important to you it can make you nervous. As to how much it hurts...for some people itdoesnt hurt at all and for others it does but its not terrible pain... no where near enough to shed tears but it may feel a little like trying to do the splits when you are not flexible...bleeding? not eryone does...this is when your "cherry is popped". If you use tampons you have probably already broken the cervical lining and so you may not bleed but if you do it will not be more than a teaspoon and there is no pain associated with this...it is not the ripping of skin.

No not everyone bleeds and even when they do it usually isn't that much. Fore pplay helps to lube things up. most people go way to fast. Go Very slow at first. and communicate with the guy. let him know if it hurts. Be comfortable with him first. let him knoiw that you may need to stop and that you expect him to If he has a problem with it and won't stop kick his ***!!. It is normal to be scared. The most important thing is: Don't do it until you're ready, and even then you may want to wait a while.
