It really hurts and I can feel it aching down the side of my jawline!

use salt water, a tea spoon of salt to half a cup of boiled water let it cool and then swish it around your mouth like a mouthwash,

Have the doctor prescribe a tincture.... you put a drop of it on the affected area (it's like a small crater, right?). It heals it much faster .... but it will go away by itself after a few weeks. It's really good to have that tincture handy, because it will come again and again after having it once.

There is over the counter medication that provides temporary relief. Also, if you drink milk instead of soda pop, it will heal faster.

these are painful i know, had them all my life. i use to suffer. then i sprayed that throat spray on them and this allowed me to eat, drink and talk without pain. naturally you will keep spraying it on there when it wears off. it helps heal it faster too.

try rinsing with mouthwash, or peroxide it helps or if you have any throat spray like forsorethroats that helps.
