Have you gone to a stylist and got any suggestions from a specialist? I don't really know what you mean by puffy...but there are a slew of product out there. Have you ever considered a short cut?

Try an anti-curl perm. Even if you have relatively straight hair, a straight perm will change the structure of your hair to make it less frizzy. I recently got one and I don't even have to do anything with my hair and it dries straight and smooth! These generally cost around $45-$70. If you are on a budget, I would recommend going to walmart and buying some of garnier fructis' frizz serum. Just comb it through your hair and it'll dry smooth. Just make sure that you don't buy any sort of cremes, I found out the hard way that cremes make the problem worse.

In the winter my hair is always puffy so what I did was I brushed my hair down flat and then sprayed on some hair spray the hair spray I used was GARNIER Full Control Hairspray All Day Hard Hold Ultra Strong. It worked for me so I hope it will work for you!

Try switching to a new shampoo and conditioner. Look at some adds for hair products on television and after you get out of the shower do you blow dry your hair if you do stop and if you dont start. hope this helps. :)

Straighten it or go and buy some frizz control at the nearest Walgreens or Rite-Aid. Good luck!

for straight hair- get a ceramic straigtener. i got mine @ cvs for $17. its just a standard conair straightener. it works great. you don't need to buy a $50 one to get the same results.

for wavy hair- i would suggest taking a shower at night, then french braiding your hair. when you take it out....no poof!
