my fortune cookie's predictions always come true like one time one said that i would recive a great amount of money soon. and when i was walking this guy tried to mug me and i beat the sh*t out of him and when i was about to take his wallet i saw he had two other wallets.so i took them and found one of ther persons house and they where so happy they gave me 60 bucks and i went to the other house and i got a hot girls number.
and now my fortune cookie says im going to die what the hell do i do ????

Fortune cookies are just for fun. Seriously. It sounds as though the Chinese restaurant that you're eating at has a few issues though. If they're giving out cookies that say you're going to die, they're either playing a sick joke or their distributor is. I've never seen a fortune cookie that had anything other than a vague comment, and a few lucky numbers. Honestly, the other fortune that "came true" was most likely a coincidence.

I can tell don't believe it but that's not going to help so here is my true explaination:
first of all, your fortune cookie is not Buddha or God (I am sorry since american, like to use the word God but I am a Buddhist). even Buddha doesn't determine your life. you "decide" how long you live. what that mean is that in buddhism we believe that no everything in life happened because our previous life's actions (could be many lives before) so it is called Karma. what goes around will come around.
let say you have two choice:
1. choose to not believe in your fortunate cookie (I mean truly 100% ) live your life as you did not saw the prediction. then that's great. which that's right way too.
2 if you choose to believe it then. you can try to prolong your life, Pray to Buddha or God. then start donate your time, ,money to the charity. any is fine, but espically the one that help others for healthier life, like redcross, or wfp.org or free clinic. doens't have to be religious as long it is helping other live betterand longer life.
then you can also do is release live. anyway. I already explain it too much from my other answer so I am going guide you there.
go to the question I answer and one of question was a lady who take 5 or 6 medicine per day and look for my answer.
3. choice. you know the fortune cookies is just thing, you determine your life. okay.

You didn't do the other part of the tradition. When you get a fortune cookie, you're supposed to add the words "in bed" to the end of the fortune. So count yourself lucky! haha
