Some couples stay together under worse conditions than what you described here for years, & years. So no they may not get a divorce ever. Even if one of them threatens the other with divorce, it may never happen.
Having said that, unless something changes between them, splitting up might be the best thing that could happen for the entire family.

You may not know it, but you have the right, & you owe it to yourself to tell your parents how you feel when you hear them fighting. Plus tell them how you feel when you never see them be affectionate toward one another. They may not like hearing it from you, but as long as you stick to the truth, & don't yell at them, they will have no reasonable grounds to punish you for speaking out.
I know it will have to take a lot of courage to do that, but somebody has to affect a change here, & sometimes the greatest wisdom comes from a child.

That could be you.
Good Luck!

Well, my parents fight a lot too. I would think that they probably will split up if they have been going at it for 3 years. The plus side is:
2 houses
double christmas presents
double love.
But I am not trying to make you want them to split up, but just look at the plus sides.

No one knows what is going to hppen except your parents. You say this has been going on for three years, but have you tried to talk to them. You might just be the person to save thier relationship!

No one can answer that but your parents. They might just be going through a rough patch. Every relationship is different. What you can do is talk to your mom/dad and ask them whats going on and tell them how you feel.

Whatever happens, remember it was THEIR problems that caused it. Never blame yourself, divorce is not the end of the world you'll still have a mum & dad who love YOU. Loads of people in the same boat honey, good luck.
