i'm looking for a evaluation/demo kit for pic microcontroller to buy. i'm looking for something that has more than 30 i/o and that's really easy to get started with.
i have looked trough several websites and didn't find much.
can someone help me out?

Also any kinf of pic programmer would be fine.

Do you need a starter kit? I bought a PIC programmer on Ebay and downloaded the free MPLAB development suite from Microchip. That and a PC to run it on was all I needed.
