As a Canadian, you can stay in the US up to 180 days out of 365 days without a Visa. However, you cannot work unless you acquire a work Visa.

To live permanently in the U .S. you will have to apply for and be granted permanent resident status.

Just as an aside ... keep in mind that the U.S. does not have National Health Care, so you would have to either pay for medical out of pocket or pay for private insurance if you move here.

Go for it. FLorida is full of non-Floridians. As far as working for Disney, if you are French-Canadian and speak French you would be a plus to their staff. Good luck. However in order to work I'm guessing you would need to check the laws as far as a working visa, etc.

Visit http://www.disneycareers.com to learn how to work for the Disney company. I will warn you - Disney Cast Members don't make much money, unless you are a performer or work at the Corporate level. But if you are a true Disney fan, you just can't beat the perks!

Get your neck all red and start supporting the president... No, I'm just kidding, as a Canadian citizen you can work in the US for 6 months.
