I'm 5'8 and weigh about 137-140 (depends on the day) pounds. What would be a good diet to stick to to lose 10 pounds? I'm not looking for something that will make me drop the weight rapidly, but I would like something that I'll see the results from fast. I've heard about the Special K diet but that will raise your sugar level. Was looking for something a little healthier than that. Any help would be appreciated.

the best way to lose 10 pounds fast is drink around 4 liters of water a day,and eat only fresh or steamed vegetables and some fruit but not to much only like 4 full fruits is the most.eat only little meals in about the size of 2cups and this 5 times a day.of course exercise 3 times a week, you have to do it for like 40 Min's.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

since you only need to lose a little, i think exercise would probably do it,,,, what i do, is exercise during tv commercials, jump up and jog or dance around, or every half hour if i am on the computer or reading, i take a few minutes out to do that,,,,,,, those minutes can really add up,,, also,,, just cutting out sugar and the high calories and/or cutting down on portions of food for a couple of days, will work,,,,,, though what i do, besides all of the above,, is to jump start my weight loss by limited fasting, meaning for one day, i only have low cal/low sodium liquids (tea , soup broth etc) and crackers,,,,,, then eat normal small portions after that,,,,,,, i never do this more then once a week ,,, and never for more then a few weeks in a row

Try doing at least thirty minutes of cardio everyday. Drink plenty of water and try not to exceed 1500 calories each day...Why even attempt to answer the question if you are only going to state the obvious?

The safe way, is the natural way: Eat fruits & vegetables and only drink spring water. For the protein part, eat two ORGANIC eggs a day...walk, walk and walk. Do only what is written and you will loose your ten and be safe.
