Its not from the dog, but could be from the food.

The toxicity of chocolate depends on a few factors...size of animal, amount of chocolate ingested and sensitivity. Your dog, in the past, has probably not eaten enough chocolate to lead to a toxic reaction (thankfully) and he could not be very sensitive to theobramine (the chemical in chocolate that makes it toxic). A small dog could eat a small candy bar and develop diarrhea, vomiting etc, where as a larger dog ingesting the same amount, may not show any toxic reaction at all. In the past, my dogs have occasionally ate a dropped M&M, or chocolate chip with no problem at all, probably because it was not enough to cause a reaction. Dark chocolate and baker's chocolate is more harmful, than milk and white chocolate b/c it is a more "pure" form. Just keep in mind that enough chocolate can cause death in a pet, the smaller breeds are at more risk b/c it takes alot less to cause a reaction, than it would in a large breed dog. Hope that helps!

there r a bunch of skin disorders and it's not that uncommon for them to get them. if u share a bed w/ ur dog, that could b how ur getting it cuz if it's like a bite ur dog can attract flees or ticks and since they like to jump, they could get on u 2 or if the dog eats chocolate it can trigger rashes, it could b a coincidence that u have it 2. it's prob. not the food. u should prob. get ur vet to check out the rash and avoid that much contact w/ the dog and don't share a bed.

For your dog, this is a common sign of a food allergy, a LONG term food allergy. Your dog did not "give" you a rash, unless you're allergic.
As for you, go to a doctor.
You shouldn't feed yourself that crap, let alone put it down your dog's throat.
