There is an ironwood tree, and as the name implies, ironwood is an extremely dense hardwood. The ironwood tree is an evergreen and grows only in the Sonoran Desert, and can live for 1,000+ years. Its wood is very hard and very heavy, and doesn't rot all that well either.

The topaz is not released yet (11/1/12) when it does I am sure someone will immediately figure out what it breeds with and post it on the Wiki or the Sandbox. Edit: Okay people have discovered it. The Topaz dragon needs Cactus and Firefly.

Yes there is an iron wood tree. It is called that because the wood has a very high density and doesn't float in water.

nickname for hornbeam or hophornbeam trees, the tree's trunk appears to look muscular, hence the name ironwood. Their wood is also heavy and hard.
