Hi I joined an online dating web site
week ago had an e-mail of this guy Tim who it turns out knows my dad and my
brother works in theatre like them and I found out i kinda know him through
theatre etc
Anyway we e-mail,swap numbers and chat on phone
He asks would i like to go on date i say yeah when?
hes busy with work so gives me dates of when hes free.
We decided to arrange for Thurs last but he text me and cancelled saying he was
ill etc. I replied no worries you will have to make it up to me! He says sure i
can think of something! All sounds good we have kept in touch via e-mail or
Text,then today hes online i say hi,he replies hi how are you? really busy with
work over next couple of months,I say oh well looks like we wont get that date
then! he says I'm sure we will at some point,just really rubbish at getting time
off! So........ I ask him what hes up to tonight says hes going out with mates
to cinema! and going with the flow! So now I'm thinking does he like me? does he
want to meet up? if not why not tonight since hes busy from now on? and if not
why bother setting up date in first place? help!!!!!!!!

This guy doesn't seem to want to put the effort in spending time with you so I say leave it be. I mean, if he can make time to hang with his mates, why can't he make time to hang with you? The whole thing seems a little fishy so I say find someone else who will want to hang out with you...good luck.

I'm really sorry, but the guy doesn't want to go out. I actually used to do the same thing to women I wasn't interested in. He most likely wanted to go out at first but had a change of heart. Just move on and don't think much of it. There's a million reasons why he might not be interested.
If someone is really that interested in you then they could at least have coffee or something for 10 minutes.

I'm on a dating site myself been where you are now and later found out they where genuine , play hard to get if he wants to meet you that much he will come ruining

if this guy really liked you he would make some sort of effort,the fact he keeps saying im busy at work to me is some sort of excuse,he says he going out with his mates yet cant find the time for you,think it says it all.why couldnt he have cancelled seeing his mates for you hmmmmmmm.

ok well It sounds like he doesnt wanna meet u. either hes scared to or he has a gf.. because i mean he could get a day off from work easily or squeeze u in.. he probably doesnt wanna get involved either cuz he knows ur dad and brother

He doesn't sound interested. Perhaps he made a mistake and hes not man enough to say. Leave well alone and look elsewhere.
