people with all different age gaps work out, just depends on the two individuals. It does make a difference when you younger than lets say 16 though, It can work for you def because thats about the age guy you'll need to be with in order for them to have the same level of maturaty as you do, but then its weird when you turn 24 and look back you'll see how kinda weird it is and wrong in a sense for a 24 yr old guy to be with an 18 girl its just that when your 24 your experiences in life are so much different and you'll see the wrong in it is really that its just unfair to you as the 18 yr old because there are so many things he can say and do to you that you wont even realize because your not aware of it yet he'll have a big advantage over you as far as being able to manipulat you and take advantage of you, and play games if he chooses to, then again he could really love you and treat you like an equal, listen you'll just have to feel him out if you notice some weird things or bad treatment twords you in ways you dont think that anyone who loves you would do then back off, if not go for it but be careful your feeling will make you ignore all those things until its to late and your to involved and sometimes the consiquences will effect you for the rest of your life and if children are involved so will he, good luck Kim

7 years is no big deal if you are in your 20s. 18 to 24? Too much room for error. Guys at that age are not thinking about love. You love him? No offence but you don't know what that is exactly. Problem is as well is you can't even go to bars with him. Take it for what it is, enjoy your time together but realize that the odds are slim it will work out. Myabe later but take it for what it is.

7 years age gap is too much for a 18 year girl. It would NOT sound bad if you are 30 and he is 37.

It all depends on then common stuff you both share. DO you actually feel that it's to big of a gap? Some people are ten yrs apart. Just go with the flow if nothings in common there then worry. relax if you both can make each other laugh, age is just a number you are what you make yourself to be.

Its not too big of a gap. When you really care for someone, age is just a number. If hes not making you do things youre not interested in then he probably cares about you too.

I don't think thats a problem at all. I am 17 and my bf is 27..thats 10years between us and were still doing great, we are living with each other and things are good. If you care about him and he cares about then don't even think of there being a big age gap...age is nothing but a number.

It depends on you.

In my experience 18 years old don't have much idea what they want in life. 25 year olds should be getting more clarity on that.

You might think you know what you want now, but you might feel differently by the time you are 25. In the mean time, you might be heading down a path determined by your boyfriend and it it turns out not to be what you want, it won't work out.

And if he is 25 and still has no clue what he wants out of life, yeesh...

Maximum gap is of 15 years which is not rare so 7 years is not much. If you two love each other, get married!

It depends on your relative maturity level compared to the person you're dating. I have seen 18 year olds whose maturity far outstrips even some 40 year olds. It is dependent on the people involved; a difficult question to answer without more info.
