First of all ,other than your eyes feeling tired your use of them will not wear them out or cause poor vision . All that falls under old wives tales . Your vision is a factor of the shape of the eyeball and under genetic influence and aging it will change shape yearly and your vision will worsen. Short of Laser surgery or fitting of contacts, nothing you can do will help. Lasic treatment costs between $1000 -$2000 per eye . Your cheapest solution is a good eye exam ,proper corrective lenses and if you choose the very lightest weight plastic for the lenses and lightweight frames you will forget you have them on .

The best answer is you have to try stuff yourself or just accept that you'll need vision correction. The reason I say this is if you want the easy answer doctors will tell you it simply. YOU CAN'T IMPROVE YOUR VISION! However, I have heard of a lot of people who have improved their vision especially with low nearsightedness. The problem is I can't give you any guarantee in what will work or won't work. A lot of the natural vision improvement stuff is based on rejected scientific theories. Your best attempt is to probably do a combination of eye exercise/relaxation exercises with the use of + lenses for near work. But remember eye exercises don't relax the muscles to make you see better, so there has to be some other reason if they actually work. I have tried stuff with an open mind and it seems kind of ineffective. A person i knew from college says that eye exercises had worked for him a little bit. Theres just no satisfactory explanation why it would work and is therefore rejected as psuedo science. There are some less heretical theories going around that say people with only a little bit of nearsightedness can reverse psuedo myopia if they use + lens treatment if the cause was from too much nearwork. If you want to listen to the eye doctors who say there is no way to prevent or reverse myopia then fine listen to them. I think you can somewhat prevent myopia or reverse psuedo myopia but in our culture of computers, tvs and homework its almost impossible to stop the negative affects these bring when your genetics tend toward nearsightedness.

My son was advised that he should wear contacts so did my brother. For some reason it will stop or slow down the degenerating eye sight. I am not sure if this works for everyone, and they recommend the hard contacts. Lots of people have said that the Lasiks is a godsend, but I don't know the cost. I do know they had to travel over 150 miles to find a reputable Dr to do it.

I read this testimonial once, and this guy was saying that he had glasses, he was soo sick of it that he decided to do something about it, he started exercising for at least 15 minutes everyday and naturally, his eyesight improved. Personally, I don't think that you need to pay that much money on Laser surgery, try exercising! (I usually eat lots of carrots, and that helps too, lol) Good luck!
