JW Marriot will be the place to stay in Phuket. July is in the wet season, so you can expect both hot and wet days on your stay. But it will still be enjoyable.

Have fun.

If you want to spend alot of money. Many inexpenxive yet nice, clean, safe places are available in smaller and cozier places. I wouldn't spend more than $15-20 per night.
