I got my cat from a breeder, i had a kitten previously who was tiny and died of a congenital liver problem, she was also from a breeder, so if you dont mind, i'm slightly worried!!! (kittyrogue)

It depends on what breed she is but a general rule for kitten weight is they should weight 1 lb for every month old they are, this works until they are 6-7 months old. For example lets say I have a 3.5 month old kitten, I could expect her to weigh about 3.5 lbs.

I'm sure she's okay, even if she's small, because i don't think that will hurt her health. Are you sure she's 2 months old, because sometimes a pet store or shelter won't actaully know when the kitten was born. She might have been the runt of the litter, because my cat was and he is still pretty small for a cat.

i have a siamese seal point also and mine is a male/ 1 year it does not matter what size it is theres plenty of cats all over the world who are just as small as yours i dont know if it is called something but yours is maturing slower or if not he/she will turn out to be one of those dwarf kittens that stay small which i think is adorable when they turn out that small.

They all look tiny at this age, about big enough to fill a teacup. If her eyes are open and she can eat by herself and she can find her way to the litter box she should be okay. If her legs are very short you may have a munchkin varieation.

For pete's sake, take the cat to the veterinarian! It needs to go for a check-up and all the rest. Then ask the vet what he or she thinks! Do not ask people here, as most have no clue what they are talking about. ASK A PROFESSIONAL in the field!

What does your vet think? Cats are like people, they vary in sizes, but if you're worried, take her to the vet.
