The Role of Vitamin B
Vitamin B comes in several varieties of substances and forms, all which serve slightly different purposes for the body. Vitamin B is one of the number one required ingredients for your body. Knowing what the different types of vitamin B can do for you, as well as knowing exactly how much you need in a daily diet helps with your health.
There are eight major types of B vitamins, as well as several secondary types of B vitamins. Some of these have alternate names in order to make them distinct from the B vitamin group. B vitamins are determined by the compounds that they contain in them and how they all work together in the functioning of the body. All B vitamins are water-soluble and move through the body in the same way.
The B vitamin group will have several unique factors to them. However, they generally function on helping the body in the same areas. Some of them may be stronger in functioning in certain areas than others. In general, the main purpose of vitamin B is to help with the metabolism. In order for the metabolism to function properly, it needs energy to come from nutrients and outside sources. The B vitamin will help to increase the flow of fat, proteins and carbohydrates throughout the body in relation to this.
Most B vitamins will also help with appearance in several ways. B vitamins are known for their help in healthy looking skin, hair and nails allowing for one to stay looking young and healthy. This is because they move into red blood cells and help provide energy for either moving red blood cells out of the system or to reproduce more. If you are not getting enough B vitamins, your hair may begin to fall out, your skin and nails may begin to turn an un-natural color and you will begin to look fragile.
The B vitamins do not stop with this help in your body. They are also known to provide energy to the immune system and the nervous system. By doing this, they allow for quicker mental functioning as well as help to prevent diseases by strengthening your immunity to them. B vitamins are known to be helpful in fighting things such as stress and depression as well, as they allow particular triggers to move through the nervous system.
The one thing that is important to consider with B vitamins is that because they are water soluble, they are important to have in the body every day. However, they are easy to find either through supplements or in a wide variety of food. You can look in several places to find which areas the B vitamin is. By doing this, you will be ensuring that you will be able to remain healthy.
The B vitamin is important for a large portion of your bodies' health and balance. Having enough of this vitamin move through your body will help in several different ways. Investigating and knowing where to find the B vitamins, as well as ensuring that you are getting enough of this vitamin on a daily basis will help you in your every day functioning and physique.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

I think they say that it helps circulation or something. You won't lose weight by just taking the pills, but I found that a long with my diet when I take vitamin B, vitamin E, and vitamin C, it helps a little bit. If nothing else, it gives me the illusion that I have more energy and even if its just in the mind, it helps.

B vitamins are known to support the metabolism. and your metabolism is charge of how fast or slow you break down the food you eat and turn it into energy. Higher metabolism would break down food quicker and convert it into energy faster therefore making the person "thinner" as opposed to someone with a lower metabolic rate. B vitamins can be found in vegetables particularly green leafy vegetables like spinach or romain lettuce. b-12 is found in fish, red meat, poultry, milk, cheese and eggs. other b vitamins such as b-6 are in bananas, potatoes, seeds and nuts Green tea also supports the metabolism and helps to lose weight.

no but over time b vitamins help with energy, which in turn help with being active and may help you lose weight - i have heard that HUGE doses of b12 (like the type that you get in a shot - not that you could swallow) help too...but it's never been proven on it's own - only with strict diets
