Your last paragraph shows how little you know of Christians and what they think. Let me answer like this: you say, "They are unique and the outside world is moron" I say, "Not so, there are morons on both sides". you say,"Christians are gifted" and I say, "Christians have been given some gifts by the Holy Spirit, but we are not all automatically 'gifted', meaning highly intelligent, above normal. You say, "The outside world is evil and scary place" and I say, "Yes, the outside world IS evil, but not necessarily a scary place, for we have Jesus' Love and protection". Read the Bible, asking the Lord for wisdom which He will give you, for understanding His Word. May God bless.

I am Dumb, i am stupid, i dont know anything except that there is a GOD.
i have had many prayers answered and experienced many spiritual things as well as paranormal. it is not up to me to judge others but it is up to all of us to discern Fruits of righteousness and evil.
all believers think they are called to preach, teach and share their testimonies. Some people even disagree with this.
I guarantee you, if a man was visited by God, or Jesus the messiah, They would think they are unique, Even i thought i was going to be a prophet and do a great work in the gospel.
But i am sad that nothing ever happened. I know im not Unique in the eyes of the rest of the world but I know i have a unique gift that is not proven to be in many or most people.

I found this, and it's rather amusing. It's from the Christian Courier website telling people how to identify a cult:
"Cult members are 'focused on a living leader to whom members seem to display excessively zealous, unquestioning commitment.'"
I have seen this on lists before, but on this particular site I noticed that they conveniently added the word "LIVING" to their definition, as if their little edit makes them different. Other than that, EVERY cult sign applies to Christianity.
If that's not enough, here's the final statement from their web page:
"The Christian must always be on guard against cult-like figures who would control their thinking and life-patterns. Our challenge is to bring “every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Cor. 10:5), and to none other."
So remember to be on guard against people that would control your thinking by giving every thought to the obedience of Christ and to none other! Those people have a wicked sense of humor!

Are Christians supposedly the only ones to feel this way? Do atheists not feel this way also?
