I don't know about the book and CD but I watched the TV series he did called "i can make you thin" and to be honest it just seems like common sense, things like only eat when you're hungry, and stop eating when you are full. The visualisations he recommends are good to do. After trying many diets to lose weight, I decided to give this one a go and I have lost weight through it. Of course, I've got wisdom teeth poking through at the moment and eating is painful so I'm living off tinned soup and instant mash, which are the only things I can eat painlessly at the moment, so maybe that has something to do with it (???)

I've only just thought of trying hypnotherapy as a way of assisting weight loss. I've downloaded a few Paul McKenna audio books from ares to give them a try (incuding I can make you thin). At least I won't have wasted any £ if they don't work

If it worked I'm sure it would have flows off the shelf last year and there would be no fat people anymore.

Its just another fad for people who just want the body but are not prepared to make the necessary life changes.

The only way to loose weight is to burn more calories than you consume! Simple! So either eat less and healthier, or exercise more - ideally both.

First you have to be motivated enough to listen to it every day! I haven't lost any weight with it. Good for relaxation, but there are nicer CDs out there for that. If you realy must give it a go ... try e-bay instead of forking out full price.

I have the CD, and lets just say I am not thin.
Seems a bit pants, it gives you these rules to live by, as if it were that easy.
However, the visualisation exercises are good.
I wouldn't fork out for it again.
