i used to live in Russia now in england and there was this boy at my old school who really liked me. back then i didnt feel anything to him, just friendship, then i suddenly moved away and didnt have the opportunity to tell him, as it was in the summer hols. 2 years later, i returned for a holiday and went to my old school's xmas party - this boy didnt even look at me! i reckon he's pi$ed off for me not telling him.

now im starting to have feelings for him - i dunno why. one of this year's resolution i told myself i'd patch things up with him, just to explain that i'm sorry and see if he wants to start things up, but i dont know how he'll react

perhaps you're having feelings for him because you know he's not interested anymore? if you have true feelings for him you should just explain to him that you left and didn't get a chance to say goodbye, but if you're living in England and he's in Russia how can this work?

send him a letter enclosing a picture postcard of England saying how nice it was to see him again, especially as you hadn't had time to say goodbye before. Tell him you really miss his friendship and hope you can become friends again when you finish your studies

put your address on and then leave it to him - it may be that just as your feelings have altered towards him over 2 years, his towards you may have also altered and he may have someone else now.

By saying you want him as a friend will save you being embarrassed if he has met someone else, and by saying you would like to be friends when you go back is also telling him that you are planning to return to Russia

Good luck

Plain and simple, he ignored you. Try a different approach, like texting him. See how it goes. This boy may have feelings for you, but by the very fact that you literally dumped him, he may be scared of being rebuffed again. TEXT HIM.

I would tell him how you feel. He might not want to patch things up but I think it is better to tell someone something and be rejected than to not tell them and wonder what would have happened if you told them.
