Is it rheumatoid or osteo? Either is bad. It has been in my family
for several generations. A cousin has it very bad. Rheumatoid will
get worse if she doesn't see a Dr. The disease attacks the body's joints etc. Embril and other medications supposedly slows down the attack on the body. It also has side effects, but it
seems to be better to use medications rather than become more & more crippled by the disease. About the only thing the person can do to help themselves is to eat foods that one isn't alergic to
and to exercise as much as possible. There is a magazine called
Arthritis Today. It has good advice. There are Arthritis support
groups in most cities & towns. The best of luck to your friend.

Basic simple arthritis is inflammation of a joint usually accompanied by pain, swelling and frequently changes in structure. It might be noted that this differs from osteoarthritis and other forms of arthritis by the type of manifestations and that there is a different spiritual root behind each of the types.
The spiritual root for simple arthritis involves bitterness against others. When you have bitterness against yourself, it involves degeneration. When you have bitterness against others, it involves swelling and inflammation. It is swelling and inflammation that produces the deformity.
Osteoarthritis is progressive cartilage degeneration in joints and vertebrae and usually does not involve inflammation. The cartilage is the other material between the vertebrae. Osteoarthritis is the result of self-bitterness and not forgiving one's self. It's holding a record of wrongs against yourself and also can involve an element of guilt.
Rheumatoid Arthritis white corpuscles attacking the connective tissue of the bones. They then eat at it and produce rheumatoid arthritis. This person doesn't want to face themselves and they have self-hatred and guilt.
Nonbacterial inflammation
Two diseases merged into one. The root is anxiety, fear, guilt, and self-hatred producing something called nonbacterial inflammation. Inflammation comes from bacterial intrusion. When this happens the doctor puts you on antibiotics. If you have inflammation and he puts you on antibiotics but no bacterial material intrusion and you continue taking the antibiotics, you're not going to have any relief and after a while you end up with candida. Continuous usage of antibiotics destroys the body flora and you need some body flora to maintain your balance. You don't want to destroy all the bugs. Some bugs are helpful.
This information came out of a book "A More Excellent Way" written by Henry W. Wright who trains doctors to deliver people from diseases according to God's word.

Where ever she has arthiritis, keep that part moving. Taking medicine will help a little. The only cure for the arthiritis is surgery.

my friend suffers from arhtritis of her knees and hands sometimes painfully. when it occurs she has a soak in a warm bath or uses heat pads to help ease the pain. i think there is also tablets that you can get prescribed if it is that bad. my friend prefers not too though, i know she does gentle walking to help her knees. it is more painful in the cold weather i know. i hope this helps!

Exercises can help but it's such a painful health condition that you must resort to the medications to keep it under control.
