This one boy likes me, and I like him, a lot, but he asked my friend if he should ask me out, she said no and to wait. But I might ask him out...though now a days how people ask each other out is sending emails or texts saying "I like you, will you go out with me?" I don't want it to be cheesy like that...any advice?

You shouldnt go for him. he should go for you. You should tell your friend that next time he says that, that she says yes. He should ask you out. Not you ask him out. Sorry, but its wierd. I am not trying to be mean, but i got experience, so do what I said, and good luck. Oh, and also please, pick me as best answer.

You have only known this boy for 3 weeks. How old are you and why can't you wait and be friends a little longer before asking to go with you. Most of the time a boy will ask you? Let time tell you.

I suggest not to be the one to make the first move and ask him out first. Wait for him to ask you out..
The problem is, though many might think it a strong appeal in a female to be upfront about her feelings and ask a male out first, it is also a tendency that the male will treat the female with less respect because he will perpetually think that it doesn't matter how he treats her because she was the one who liked him enough to make the first move and be so forward.
But if you really feel you want to ask him out, I suggest first asking him if he likes you or not, just to confirm. Then, if he does, ask him whether or not he likes you enough to want you as a girlfriend. If he does, then just simply ask him: "Will you be my boyfriend?" Ask him face-to-face, not take the coward's way out by using AIM or text-messaging.

well you could write him a note but be creative in it and like slide it through the opening in his locker or make him a locker sign or something cute like that. anything that you can think of that is creative is good. even inviting him on a group outing then just talking to him one on one and asking him in person is good too. just be brave and take the plunge because you can't wait on a guy your whole life because he may not act.

if your friend told him to wait get your friend to tell him that it would be a good time to ask you out. Then you dont have to do anything.

Send him one private sms and write him that you are a girl how like him verry much you want to see him...invite him in a special place...and when he will see you he will be verry surprise and HAPPY........
