I went here for the first time, at the suggestion of my Mother-In-Law, with my fiance', then boyfriend. We had a great time! Sitting at the bar with a shark tank above our heads sipping some of the best drinks I 've had in a long time, while waiting for our table made the wait almost non-existent. Walking pass the waterfall to our table made the experience more enjoyable....the atmosphere was great. The second time I ate here was when my fiance' proposed to me. The Staff made that experience very memorable and special. This place is GREAT for first date, and it won't even break the bank.

This is pacific rim cuisine? It must be because they serve mahi mahi or they coconut crust some god awful cooked fish or maybe it was because they serve sashimi quality tuna on wonton crackers?

We can't believe we haven't been here before! Had the pineapple bread, ahi tuna & Opaka Paka, and all we're awesome. You just can't find this food, presentation and service without going into the city or out of the state. Probably the best wine list I've seen in a casual dining restaurant. I've been to Hawaii ten times, and this is as close as I can get to a tropical getaway.

What a great date restaurant! FINE dining in a casual atmosphere, but I still wanted to dress for the occassion. The seafood is flown in fresh every morning and the chef's present the dishes with paradise in mind. We were seated in the main dining area with a breath-taking view of both the waterfall and the 3,000 gallon shark tank. The wine list was impressive but I was in the mood for a Mojito, my companion enjoyed the Mai-Tai. The service was so prompt and efficient and the staff such a joy - I can't wait to go back again. They have Karoake on Thursday nights with drink specials and free appetizers. I do believe I will now be a regular The Canoe Club. This was a "pure sugar" night.

The service was very poor, the waitess was very slow and it took a long time for her to our order. I had mango chicken, it was very dry and the veggie was over cook, and my wife meal was also dry. If you go to this restaurant eat a light meal and prepared to wait a while for service.

Pros: delicious food, gigantic bottles and food!

Cons: no windows

i think this was a sensational restaurant, i really enjoyed the food & service, great atmosphere the only thing is they need more windows, it was kinda gothic!
